Overview of teacher resources

Teacher resources in this program are supported by the travel group (department of travel management, department of airline and transport management, department of leisure recreation management and department of hotel management), while instructors of its core professional courses are all able to teach in English. The teaching resources of this program include 2 professors, 10 associate professors and 7 assistant professors. Because we have professional teachers from the industrial and academic circles, students can learn theoretical knowledge together with valuable industry experience, and students can study the most solid professional knowledge of tourism through professional course teaching in English.
Expert full-time teachers include Rong Ji-Ye, who specializes in operation and management of travel industry; Huang Rong Peng, who specializes in group leading, tour guides and tour leading; Kan Tang-Chung, who specializes in tourism administrative regulations and tourism psychology; Zhang De-Yi, who specializes in marketing and human resource management and other teachers in relevant fields. Degree, educational background and expertise of full-time teachers are shown in Table 1; educational background and degree percentage of full-time teachers is shown in Table 2. Furthermore, this program engages several teachers with experience both in teaching and practice on and off campus and chief directors in the industry as part-time instructors to consistently enrich the teaching program.
