Study Program

ITM prospective student   

The prospective student for the Bachelor Program in International Tourism Management should have an attitude of service to others and an interest in understanding the background processes of the tourism and hospitality industry. Since all the classes are taught in English, it is necessary to have competent oral and writing skills in this language. A high level of responsibility and commitment is expected from our students during the classes and the internship year in our partner companies. Besides courses and the internship, several events are organized throughout the year where the students are expected to involve as participants and organizers. Therefore, proactiveness and leadership will be valuable qualities in an ITM candidate.

ITM program

Our four-year program offers a series of required and elective courses that allow the students to build an academic path that better matches their personal goals. The program includes multiple elective courses focusing on different aspects of the tourism industry. Each student can combine their individual career interests with the program’s elective courses to develop professional knowledge and skills that meet their personal goals.

 

Freshmen Year

The first year of our program works as an introduction to the world  of tourism and hospitality.

             Freshmen Year The first year of our program works as an introduction to the world of tourism and hospitality. Our required course: - Introduction to Hospitality - Service Management - Professional English in Tourism - Travel Businesses - Food and Beverage - Hotel Management - World Destinations

Junior Year

During this year, our students work as interns in one of our partner companies in Taiwan and overseas. This is a great opportunity for our students to get practical experiences and professional contact.

Senior Year

The courses this year build on the professional experiences gained during their internships. The students are guided to focus on the tourism area of their interest.
